The event management workgroup was convened to evaluate the viability of an addition to Zowe’s existing capabilities in the form of Event Management, namely pushing mainframe events to interested consumers who may reside on or off-platform. This workgroup’s formation follows the work started in a subgroup of the ZAC which evaluated Zowe’s own use cases for event management, and additionally covered the ability to extend the solution to a more general format which could benefit the broader ecosystem, much as we do today with CLI plugins, App Framework plugins, etc. We continue the ZAC subgroup’s work.
